Dear Navy Families,

As we gear up to join schools nationwide for Teacher Staff Appreciation Week on May 6th to May 10th, we are reaching out to request your support so we may acknowledge the incredible 112 staff members who make Navy Elementary School a beacon of learning and inspiration.

At Navy Elementary, we firmly believe that every member of our staff, from homeroom teachers, specialists, instructional assistants, administrative personnel, custodial and cafeteria teams, contributes to the nurturing and growth of our students. The Navy staff's ongoing dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment creates a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where student dreams take flight and possibilities are endless.

This year, our theme for Teacher Staff Appreciation Week is the "Appreciation Adventure," with a safari-inspired motif. Throughout the week, we have planned a variety of activities for both students and staff, culminating in the presentation of Amazon and coffee gift cards to all 112 members of our staff on Friday, May 10th. Unfortunately, PTO funds cannot be used to purchase gift cards for staff, which is why we are turning to our generous Navy families for support. We have created an Amazon wishlist where you can easily contribute gift cards to ensure that every staff member receives recognition and appreciation for their hard work and dedication this year. Additionally, we will be sharing sign-ups for specific day-of assistance, including setting up of breakfast, helping with lunch, and creating a wall of appreciation. We also welcome sponsors for breakfast, snacks, and lunch. If you or your company would like to sponsor any of these items, please reach out to us, and we will gladly acknowledge your generosity.
