Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week: May 3rd - May 8th 

During Teacher Appreciation Week, we're going to celebrate the magical educators and staff who bring wonder and possibility into our classrooms every day. To all the teachers who sprinkle pixie dust on our students and help young minds take flight, thank you for being the real magic makers in our lives. Your dedication, patience, and boundless enthusiasm create a whole new world of opportunity for every student at Navy.

To honor our teachers and staff, the PTO is collecting donations so that we can purchase gift cards for each staff member. Click on the donation button to make a contribution. Click on the Favorites button to see our teacher's favorites colors and things.

Sunday, May 3rd: Just keep chalking (with Dorie)!

Join your classmates by chalking the walk at Navy, designing and drawing beautiful images and messages of love for our Navy Teachers and Staff! Chalk will be provided at Door #1 and the Kiss & Ride entrance. Come on your schedule anytime on Sunday, May 3rd or with the group beginning at 4:00 pm.

Monday, May 4th: May the Fourth be with You 

Calling all Jedi Masters! The force is strong with our Navy Staff and we invite you to enjoy a galactic breakfast in your honor. Come recharge with coffee, treats and gratitude in the Teacher's Lounge for all you do for our young Padawans. Students should wear their Star Wars Best. Parents can sign up here to donate items to the breakfast.

Tuesday, May 5th: Cinco de Mayo at Encancto's Casita 

Just like the Madrigal family, each staff member brings a special gift to our school. Teachers will gather in the library for a magical, Encanto-themed Chipotle lunch to celebrate every magical thing our staff does for our students. Students should wear their teacher's favorite color.  

Wednesday, May 6th: To Infinity and Beyond. . . with Popcorn!

Calling all Space Rangers: you're in for a rootin' tootin' good time! Teachers will join us for a Toy Story-themed mobile popcorn bar celebrating the incredible staff who make our school soar! Students should wear Disney themed clothing and High 5 or fist bump Navy staff today. 

Thursday, May 7th: Do You Want to Build a Snow Cone?

All our teachers and staff are invited to enjoy a sweet, icy treat. Staff members should stop by the snow cone truck outside the main entrance for a cool break. Some things are worth melting for, like our phenomenal teachers. Students should bring in their printed snowflakes and wear "frozen colors" (white, blue and purple). 

Friday, May 8th: It's a Small World at Navy

Thank you, Gracias, Xie Xie, Merci, Dhanyavaad, Danke, Asante, Grazie, Arigato, Shukran, Gamsahabnida, Shkaria! On behalf of the Navy families and PTO, we appreciate the hard work and dedication towards our students. Teachers should check their mailboxes for tokens of appreciation provided by the PTO. Students should bring in hand written notes and cards for their teachers. Don't forget your favorite specials teachers and staff members!
